What is Hip-Hop? Is it an oversized tee or a state of mind? Is it to have “Swagger” like Jigga, is it when Nas kicks “Knowledge”, when Wu Tang spits “Wisdom” or is it “Bigger Than Hip Hop” like Dead Prez. These are the questions that constantly arise when defining Hip Hop. Truthfully Hip Hop can be anything you want it to be it is a dimension between reality and fantasy a place where a nobody can dream his or her way into infinity. Hip Hop is thought provoking and it can probably not save the world but it sure can make its mark. Like Obama said “Hip Hop can not just be a rear view mirror”, she can be the audacity of Hope. Hip Hop is whatever you want it to be, it is what it is, Hip Hop is ever changing like the weather and so is its fashion. I Do It For Hip Hop take its conceptual design from contemporary Hip Hop culture. This whole lifestyle is an expressive art form and this is the basis which I Do It For Hip Hop is based on- self expression and proclamation.
