MesAyah is, with Life in Soulitude, ready for his second release and his first on the indie label Bonsaiety Records.
MesAyah is among many viewed as an offshoot of the Norwegian hip-hop scene, due to his spotlighting of themes that no other rappers have recorded before, and Life in Soulitude is no exception.
Life in Soulitude is a 5 track EP, which is a tribute to the old soul-genre from the 60s and 70s, brilliantly performed by beats from the U.S. manufacturer SoulFood Productions. This is also a tribute the soul, something that appears as a red line through the disc. During the 5 tracks MesAyah is moving within themes such as the oppressed souls, the liberation of the individual and the masquerade many of us have for each other in the community.
