Shit kan inte sluta lyssna på den här låten. Den har allt. Punchlines, sjukt flyt, grymt rimschema, inlevelse, nice koncept. yo, I give rap stars a blindfolded cigarette they kick me off they video sets cause I'm a bigger threat hate it or love it, I thought nothin of it my nigga Truck(?) tried to bring me to the mainstream public but it's back on the block where the glocks be poppin sellin Orange Countys, ya'll call em oxycontins sellin purple surp' and kush, while the cops be watchin hit the studio with guap we clockin off the boulevard I'm one of the legal but it's so expensive being the leader of the underground, shine when I come around standin in the VIP with Russel and Jay-Z in Vegas and didn't do it from sellin the CD everywhere you rappers go, you gon' see me a hood star, that's with or without the TV play me in your whip, i'm so ill you'll get carsick now I'd rather spill my pain over guitar licks fly in the moshpit, somethin like a starship rap til your heart skip a beat, but on some dark shit you A&R's wanna trap me in this hood life some say it's my past affiliation with Suge Knight but me and Suge parted ways a long time ago didn't think you labels would react so vagina though I don't know, maybe I'm a big flop maybe I should end this nightmare with a quick shot maybe I should join Eazy E, Pac, and Big Pop' maybe I should say, fuck hip-hop
"Crooked I then revealed to Dubcnn that he just got back from working on new music with the Wake Up Show's King Tech. "We made some crazy records. We made 7 songs in one day." he said. "I think that's my new direction, the sound is totally different. It's the same quality music, but tomorrow's not promised, so I wanna express myself to the fullest now. If it's a whole song about the bullshit going on in the hood or a relative that passed away, whatever it is, I just wanna express all my feelings."
damn crooked is the next rapper alive
Vers 1 I started off in this game, heart full of high hopes Young and naïve, notebook full of fly quotes Critically acclaimed, they say Crooked I’s dope Doper than white coke, walkin’ a tight rope Tryin not to fall, this industry see it got traps Record executives rape you with them paper contracts Got my first deal, and they pulled out my arteries Shot me in the heart, I mean they killed the best part of me Asked me to be a gimmick, shittin on my artistry Ain’t nobody hard as me, fuck being r&b Told you Crooked Go Hard, told you It’s a G Thang Told you fuck that autotune shit unless it’s T-Pain I like Lil Wayne, cuz he’s Lil Wayne I like The Game cause he’s Game and we ain’t the same You need a little variety on your spice rack A and R’s want me to change, so I don’t like rap Ask me for a ringtone song, homie I might snap And treat my automatic weapon to a light snack A lot of rappers let it slide, but I fight back Cause ninety-nine percent of hip hop is quite wack So you can hate me, or get back on the right track Either way I don’t give a fuck and it’s like that Yeah it’s like that, used to be a nice cat Last year I was sick of this music, now I’m twice that Refräng Do you remember the first time, you heard P.E. Jag kan inte fatta att Prodigy tyckte att Crooked I tillhörde Rick Ross & Hell Rell's klass.

"After a performance in Southern California at Paid Dues 2009, Crooked I wanted to let his fans know about his future projects.
Alongside an upcoming project with Royce Da 5'9", Joe Budden & Joell Ortiz (together as Slaughterhouse), Crooked I is teaming up with King Tech (of the World Famous Wake Up Show) for Group Therapy, a project that Crook says is needed in today's Hip Hop climate.
"We want the listeners to not be fans, but to be members of the group therapy session. Hip Hop has almost made us sick. We need to do something for people, who feel like we feel. With the current state of commercial hip hop. There's always gonna be good music out there. You just gotta search a little harder for it, because the corporations aren't putting that real good stuff to the forefront. We're trying to make music for people who feel like us," Crooked I tells HipHopDX exclusively.
"I was getting sick of the same formula, album after album, single after single. Just listening to all this stuff that people are pushing. It's no disrespect to anyone, but I just can't take this shit. They keep beating me over the head with the same shit. Me and Tech are in the same place in our career and we came together.
For those curious as to what to expect; can check out "If You Ever Hear Me" which acts as the first leak from Group Therapy.
"Me and King Tech been working. We got together one day and knocked out seven songs. Our energy is flowing right now. This is brand new sound for me. A brand new sound for him. This feels like the lane I wanna be in right now," the West Coast emcee explains.
Crooked I also stated that his long awaited album, B.O.S.S., will be released on the internet for free download."
