Jag applåderar iden och upplägget, men det passerar gränsen mellan konstnärligt och corny på ett par ställen (man skriver bara inte ut *echo* till exempel), och även om texten i sig är välskriven så känns det lite väl simpelt utfört. Det blir lite som en välrimmad "Läsa Lätt"-version av Winstons tankar istället för en konstnärlig tolkning av själva boken.

Allt som allt ger jag dig sisådär 6/10. Fortsätt skriva här, denna forumdelen behöver folk som har egna ideer. (Kanske lite absurt att säga om någon som just snott sitt temat från en bok, haha. Men ni fattar nog vad jag menar.)

Tanken med (*) är att framhäva en känsla som man kanske inte uppfattar genom att bara läsa texten. Men det gäller att vara sparsamt på sånt givetvis, annars blir det mer som anteckningar när man sitter och mixar.

Jag hade först planerat att skriva en kärlekslåt som skulle vara inspirerad att 1984, men sen kände jag att det skulle bli svårt att skriva en historia som kan mäta sig med den i 1984. Så jag bestämde mig för att återberätta historien om Winston & Julia, som är en av de mest gripande kärlekshistorierna som skrivits. Man kan säga att jag gjorde ett slags soundtrack till boken.

Sen om jag gjorde boken rättvisa kan ju diskuteras. Själv är jag rätt nöjd med slutresultatet och tycker att jag fick med det mest väsentliga efter mycket research.

Även om jag är lite partisk så skulle jag vilja ge den 9/10 :)

Jo jag vet vad dom är till för, men detta är ett lyricismforum och min åsikt är att kan man inte få fram känslorna med orden i texten så är texten inte bra nog. Här finns det inget beat att falla tillbaks på, ingen ljudbild som sätter tonen, och därför framstår den typen av "kommentarer" bara som fjantiga.

Detta är givetvis bara min åsikt, men jag vill nog påstå att jag har ganska hyfsad koll på vad jag pratar om. Som sagt, ser fram emot nästa text, peace.

Jag vet inte riktigt vad jag ska skriva då jag håller med numessiah till stor del, jag har inte läst boken så jag är inte insatt i temat och håller mig därmed borta från just det.
Mitt intryck är att dom väldigt korta raderna blir lite jobbiga i längden och att det skulle vara roligt att se lite mer avancerade/längre rim, lite klumpigt uppbyggda rader ibland också.


Det var inte dåligt, men jag tappade intresset - ska bli intressant att se nästa text dock.

Läs boken, den är riktigt bra.

Sen angående korta rader och dess uppbyggnad, det beror på att jag skrivit till ett beat och då har jag anpassat texten till det. Och mer avancerade rim har fått ge vika för handlingen eftersom det var riktigt svårt att bara sammanfatta boken på ett tillfredsställande sätt.
