Like "Damn, who triggered the alarm? It's only 6.30!
"Wait" and I render my senses, "it's another shitty workday.."
So I stand up, try'na get the purpose
Of driving a truck in two-thousand-and-what?, cuttin' curves and
I finally get dressed to the sound of the clock
'cause it's beepin' again
Hi mom, hi dad, good morning lil' sis'
Yeah, I know I gotta roll in like forty minutes
But till then, I'ma toast me breakfast
Take a shit and ponder what's worth in this worthless business
Fuck a bus, I'll keep driving every mornin'
To keep drivin' all day, my contribution to global warming
Pack it up, deliver it and have talk over lunch
Like "What's goin' down tonight" and "Yo, whut's up?"
From "We gettin' drunk tonight?" to "Fuckin out!
"Now she's with who?" "Sure, let's peep the crew
and I'ma call some friends and bring some people too"
And I hang up... and remember pay check's in
Guess who'll be playing pimp, throw pape for drinks
And guess who quits work early, yeah you heard it
Stoppin' at the way home to get some borboun..uhm, or brew!
Comin' home, shower, goin' down for supper "Pizza, huh?"
Get a shave, razorblade and now Daniels 'bout to pick me up
