as i sit on the ledge, lookin' out the window
i think of dreads and shit that i've been thru
my eyes turn wet, but not from the rain though
sad blue & red pain flow together like rainbows
emotions i let show, i just let the reigns go
plain as that yo, all cards on the table
no pharce or fable, i'm far from stable
my scars i label to digest but stay whole
feel like a slay soul, with no way to go
don't want my day to mold and stay on hold
wind to tomorrow when i'll stay not hide again
behind my sorrow 'n' confide in heinekens
wanna find a true love and the finer things
life can offer, fuck glamour 'n' diamond rings
just thinkin' about it brings tears to my eyes
window better be closing so no one hears my cries
i kinda feel like dmx and his effects of slippin'
my mind's real perplexed which reflects in vision
i worry as i watch blury subjects i invision
one worse than the next like they in competition
indecisions reveal as far as what is reality goes
inconsistent with real life like reality shows
i see slowly freezin' as i look out on the thermometer
a teen below wheezin', shook cuz her mom hit her
i seen the blow she was hopin' would be on the low
to intervene my hand i throw 'n' open the window
i scream out disses and punchlines better yet
get mean with bunch of lies cuz i haven't met her yet
with cries from a lonely troop of kids i'm silenced
only this group in sight; better rinse my eyelens
this blury vision won the competition, man straight up
