50 cent på cops?

We thought this was a joke at first but rapper 50 Cent has a younger cousin named ... Two Five, as in 25, as in 25 Cent. The up-and-coming rapper spoke with the Associated Press about the distance between him and his high-profile cousin and how fame has changed 50. For example, though Two Five credits 50 as a mentor, he says of their current relationship,

"There is no relationship. I’m doing me and I’m handling my own business. I don’t know how he feels, that’s something somebody would have to ask him. My relationship with him, to my knowledge, is, stay on your side of the street, I’ll stay on mine. I feel like I don’t need him."

That may be all well and true but he should really think about changing his name from Two Five in that case. Then again, Jay-Z got his name from mentor Jaz and it's not like anyone remembers Jaz. In any case, Two Five blames the fame for 50's fickle family loyalties:

"I think he’s lonely and bitter. I think he’s that way because there is nobody around you to share your love with. You’re making all that money just to have 15 security guards, two trucks and nobody around you that really cares for you. And when all your money is gone and there is nobody else there for you, you gotta come back to family and that’s even if we’ll accept you."
