Var står det? Är det någon av Jumpoff crew som sagt det eller bara ngra dryga forum kids som vill känna sig speciella?

Fan vad tur då.. såg även nån tråd om resultat men läste aldrig.. den som skriver ut resultat i förväg här, raawwhr!

JumpOff har väl inte sagt någonting om att de har fått tillbaka banden? Bara någon random snubbe på forumet?

Hur kan banden ha stulits medan sista battlen höll på om de fortfarande filmade?

Och nej, banden har troligen inte hittats än.

Säger inte det sig själv egentligen? Under kvarts- och semifinalerna så blev banden fulla (undanlagda/stulna) och de bytte band till finalen

On Saturday 1st December the taping of the $50K World Rap Championships finals took place in a studio in Chelsea, New York City. This was the climax to the 10 week regular season and featured teams from London(UK), Melbourne(Australia), Toronto, LA, Detroit, Atlanta, Houston and New York. Moments before the final battle production staff realized that the video tapes containing the quarter and semi finals were missing. The finals resumed but with a sombre atmosphere. Craig G, a hip hop battling legend and one of the judges on the day said "these clowns need to return those tapes, there were some great battles and the world needs to see them".

Jump Off TV have issued a $10,000 USD cash reward for any information leading to the safe recovery of all tapes. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the premises. Anyone with any information should email wrc(at)jumpoff.tv or hand the tapes in at any Police Precinct.

We are doing all we can to recover the tapes and conclude the 2007 World Rap Championships on JumpOff.TV. We have been contacted by several anonymous sources who claim they have the tapes. Unfortunately, at the moment we are not at liberty to discuss the matter in any further detail.

"first of all, whoever took the tapes is a dick. secondly, this is another theory, but remember i know people up in this bitch.

basically six people who were there think jump off did it, and one finalist was an eye witness to Harry walking out of the building, and waaay down the street to a car with something just after "the big argument" errupted. harry then returned, said "where's the tapes", ever MC got pissed but after five minutes harry was cool again. now me and jump off have had our problems in the past, but if harry leaving and going to the car and the missing tapes are connected, that's the blacklist for this company.

now then, how can we tell if they did

1) If the tapes appear "annonymously", even after they've given the ransom to a bankl account or something. basically any way these tapes show up without a guy saying it was him, and i don't buy it.

2) If the tapes don't show up and they can't pay the winners due to sponsors pulling out. the perfect hustle.

now then, that's the main theory going round most the mc's and that's why i talked on it, everything i said was told to me in confidense so no names going on here.


so...who has the most reason?

A guy in the crowd thinking he can make a few bucks? An old jump off rapper, or a losing finlist team getting their own back? i think the four people we can rule out are the four MC's in the final, but every mc exept that has a reason. Now the jump off had to pay 50 g's. 50 g's is alot, so the theory they're trying to dodge paying, or getting fans to put up a ransom to go towards the finalists pay is a good good reason for a company with "no money".

Aside from these options, i doubt any other theories are worthy, and also i think if the police are involved, the jump off should ask for a copy of the cctv footage to be put online, just so the fans can help and we know the police are actually involved.

Till alla som är intresserade så finns semifinalen utlagd, det är inte video utan en mp3 fil, det ska visst vara dålig kvalité.

Men skriv ingent om det i tråden, så ni inte spoilar för oss andra som inte ska lyssna på den o väntar på videos (om dem kommer fram!).

Aja, hoppas att dem där anonyma personen ger tillbaka banden då. Efter det där meddelandet av jumpoff så känns det inte som det är någon haox.

fast ändå som dom säger så kommer dom i värsta fall lägga upp det dom har från second camera etc... så vi kommer inte gå miste om allt hur som.

Har för mig att dom tidigare sagt att det från "second camera" är några crowd-reactions och post-battle intervjuer. Kommer inte va en bråkdel av evenemanget.
Däremot har dom ju finalen (eller?), så man får ut minst lika mkt som förra året :)

Men det är stor skillnad på förra året och det här året. Jag är nästan säker på att banden kommer komma tillbaka. Skulle kännas värdelöst att se en jäkla tabell hur det gick och se en final bara...

men jag tror man kommer ha ljudet iaf från second camera ..

även om det inte rör Sverige så himla mkt så har den här tävlingen påverkat mig som fan och om banden inte kommer fram kommer jag bli riktigt frustrerad och förbannad, mestadels över att det inte finns ett skit att göra åt det hela. Att rapparna själv hypar alla battles så mycket i JO-forumet gör ju inte saken bättre precis..

yeah, grym battle. Jag håller på Illmac & Saurus, men jag förväntade mig OT där, kanadensarna hade en del bra prewrittens. =)

"Remember, Camera 1 tapes were stolen after the semi-finals so we only really have camera 2 footage for all the battles before the last Semi-Final battle. However, we were using a digital Hard Drive that crashed after the first round of battles.

Frågan är hur det blir med de övriga ronderna innan finalen.. Hoppas fortfarande banden blir återlämnade. Men det här är väl iaf mycket bättre än inget iaf.

Och inte konstigt att banden försvann, rummet är ju packat. Att de inte hadehögre koll på säkerheten med så många utomstående där..

MEn fan overtime borde det va..!

Enligt JumpOff så hade dom koll på banden hela tiden, fram tills en "incident" inträffade. Då hade man tydligen ingen koll på banden för en kort stund och då ska banden ha stulits ur en låda.

Vad reagerar alla på i slutet ???

Alla kvartsfinaler består ju av två battles (Saurus/Illmac vann ju t.ex den första nu mot pooRICH/Twist..)

fan kid twist och poorich borde ju ha vunnit, allt illmac och saurus hade att komma med var ju  "alla i kanada är bögar" och "du ser ut som en fågel".

Quest och Marv steppade sitt game upp ordentligt, men hoppas Mad Illz och Parable tar dem i kommande ronder, tycker definitivt de är de bättre battlerapparna. Quest & Marv är större "entertainers" dock
