Tru Life: Apparently, Tru's name was being dragged around the mud in various interviews and street DVD's. Tru called out the Dips and trashed Jim Jones in the process. Jimmy and Tru went at it for a bit, trading barbs in the media. Things escalated when Jimmy sent his Purple City protege Sheist Bub to rip Tru Life's Roc chain, which he apparently did. Jones then challenged Tru to a boxing match for $50,000. Tru Life accepted it. Since then, however, nothing has come about. Recent rumors had Jay-Z wanting to drop Juelz Santana from Def Jam due to his Dips affiliation, though Def Jam execs would not allow that. Tru Life needs to get some respectable media coverage, so he might go hard at Jimmy and the Dips. Though this will not be accomplished by calling him "Jenny Jones", as Tru has done multiple times through the media. Jim has an album coming out in September, and it would not be surprising if he drops a diss track in it aimed at Tru.
