Release date for The Doctors Advocate moved...
The worlds #1 most anticipated album of 2006 "the Doctors Advocate" which was originally scheduled to be released on 06/06/06 has been pushed back to late summer of 2006.

The Game as well as Dr. Dre & their respective label Interscope Records sat down and decided it was best to move the date in order to accommodate Busta Rhyme's upcoming album "The Big Bang" which is slated to drop on June 6th.

The Game also added that his good friend, Ice Cube, was scheduled for 06/06/06 so he also decided it was right to make the move as well in order not to interrupt either of those sales.

The Game also added for more on how big of an impact "The Doctor's Advocate" will have on hip hop (refer to the classic "Documentary" album) which has sold 5 million records worldwide doing an astonishing 600,000 copies in its 1st weeks sales.

The Game told allhiphop.com that if "The Doctor's Advocate" doesn't do a million records the 1st week he will retire from hip hop for a president position at his home label Interscope Records. (I hope that's not a subliminal to President Carter)??? Just kidding readers, no more beef!!!

OCH att jag håller med dig. Boostar man upp sitt album så mycket kommer förväntningarna vara skyhöga. Lite som Kanye. Skillnaden är väl att Kanye har leverat upp till förväntningar medan The Game egentligen bara släppt en bra skiva. Som dessutom inte vara något helt insane. Det var bra, bättre än mycket ifrån G-unit. Men ja... jag tror inte att han har en så stor skiva inom sig som han försöker säga att han har.

Om han lyckas är det dock hatten av.

Vad skumt, skivan är Blackwallstreet/Aftermath/Interscope och så mycket som The Game propzat hans vänskap med DRE så var man ju säker på att DRE skulle prodda en del av skivan. Skumt. Något som hänt som man inte vet om?

Ärligt borde inte detta stå på någon av alla gunit,eminem the game sidor om det var sant? kollade runt och hittade inget om detta. Enda som ja fick fram var att det var falskt

Hoppsan, verkar som om jag faktiskt gick på pumpen den här gången.. The Game ska inte vara på TRL förrän den 23:e. Attans, brukar vara mer försiktig angående sånt här. Återstår dock fortfarande att se, vissa hävdar att showen är inspelad redan, och att det därmed är sant. Men att spela in en show som heter Total Request LIVE verkar något motsägelsefullt.

Nu är det iaf officiellt, The Game ÄR på Geffen. Men ska enligt källor ändå jobba med Dre. (Geffen ligger för övrigt, precis som Aftermath, under Interscope)

According to a statement on comptongame.com, The Game has left Aftermath Records for Geffen Records.

For months, rumors have been circulating that the Compton bred rapper had plans to leave the label to avoid releasing his sophomore album, The Devil's Advocate under G-Unit Records.

Game, who released his debut album The Documentary via G-Unit/Aftermath Records, has been having an on-going feud with G-Unit honcho 50 Cent since last year.

According to the statement on the site, in order for Game to avoid releasing The Devils Advocate under G-Unit/Aftermath, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine advised him to sign a 5 album deal with Geffen for an undisclosed sum.

In return, Game will receive a distribution deal for $50 million for his record company, Black Wall Street which is under Interscope Records.

The presence of the Geffen and the Czar Entertainment logo (Game's management) on comptongame.com and the absence of the Aftermath Logo confirm Game's label move. Comptongame.com is owned by Interscope Records.

The statement also adds that Dr. Dre and Game's relationship has not been affected by the label move. Dre will still play a big part in the making, marketing and the publicity of The Devils Advocate.

Representatives for Czar Entertainment didn't return calls for comments

Earlier this week, The Game leaked one of the album's singles titled "One Blood." The Devils Advocate, which is set for release later this year, will feature appearances from Nas and Mary J Blige, while production is supplied by Cool & Dre, Scott Storch and Dr. Dre, among others.
