Nas Doubles Up On 'Street's Disciple' Posted: 11/02/04 Rapper Nas has put the finishing touches on a 22-track double album, "Street's Disciple," due Nov. 30 via Ill Will/Columbia. First single "Thief's Theme" is built on a sample of Iron Butterfly's "Inna Gadda Da Vida," while latest single "Bridging the Gap" is a collaboration with his father, veteran session musician Olu Dara. "Street's Disciple" boasts additional guest appearances by Maxwell, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Lyfe and AZ. Production was supplied by Q-Tip, Scott Storch, Salaam Remi, L.E.S. and Nas himself. The set is the follow-up to 2002's "God's Son," which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 12 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 1.22 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
