see I came from circumstances, not havin much
not havin answers, I had enough, had to take my chances,
take advantage, let me paint the canvas,
for a minute, unveil the background and tell ya
I was way too familiar with paraphernalia
scared to grow up just to become a faliure
so I started spittin, by da gallon,
had a vision, had a talent,
with ambition that was matchin,
grindin on point like talons
I only know how to it one way thats goin all out
just to make it one day, I hope you know now
and I hope its okay, cuz there's no doubt

Ima never stop grindin, for my niggaz doin time in
solitary confinement, and all of my loved ones strivin

really do feel like I truly been blessed
wouldn't do it for less than the ones that I love
