Fråga om skolsystemet i USA

Jag har alltid trott att High School är som Gymnasium i Sverige och College är som Universitet/Högskola. Fick just höra att det inte är så...så jag är lite förvirrad.

Vid vilken ålder är man klar med High School i USA?

Vad är skillnaden mellan College/University i USA?

I Sverige motsvaras high school i utbildningsnivå ungefär av gymnasium.

College/University:
The difference between a college and a university is that a college just offers a collection of degrees in one specific area, while a university is a collection of colleges. When you go to a university you are going to be graduating from one of their colleges, such as the business college. As to which is better, it depends on what you want. Single colleges tend to be smaller while universities are bigger, but universities are better known.

man är 18 när man går ut high school.

college och university är det ingen större skillnad mellan,
förutom att collegen är oftast de lite mindre och "billigare" skolorna,
universiteten är de större och lyxigare och mer välkända skolorna,
utbildningen kan ju variera och oftast kan det vara så att universiteten
har lite mer utbud av olika kurses och major degrees.
