P3 Live med David Rodigan
Han ser ut som Lennart Hyland och är den creddigaste reggae-DJn av alla. Han har de mest obskyra 7 tummarna och konstiga dubplates man kan ha i sin skivväska. Det kändes väldigt annorlunda när han började tala om sin passion till reggaemusiken. Man förstod direkt att hans intresse och ambition skapat hans karriär.
“For over a quarter of a century Rodigan he has been the top dog in the ganja-scented, bass heavy-atmosphere of Britain’s reggae dance-halls. The key to his success has been an unsinkable passion for reggae music, which first took a hold of him as a schoolboy when he heard ska music.”
“In 1984 he joined BFBS where he still broadcasts his weekly Saturday night show (www.bfbs.com) and in 1990 he joined the newly legalised Kiss 100 where he presented a variety of daytime shows for 10 years. He is still with Kiss 100 and his Reggae show can be heard every Sunday night at 11pm (www.kiss100.com)
