Mp3 problem (creative muvo2)
Hi, I have a Nomad MuVo2 MP3 player. I attempted to upgrade the firmware to v 1.11.01. The upgrade program started, recognized the player, started to transfer data to the unit, and then froze (just the program, not the whole computer). I let it sit for a while and it never recovered. When I disconnected the player from my computer, the player was frozen as well. I removed the battery from the player, kept it out for 30+ seconds, and put it back in. With the battery back in, the player "boots" up to the MuVo2 screen and just sits there. If I leave it long enough, it will sometimes go into recovery mode. Once in recovery mode (either from letting it sit or from forcing by holding the Menu button down while inserting the battery), I get the following results for the different recovery tasks: 1) "Run PC ScanDisk": if I hit the Menu button to proceed the unit locks up until I remove/reinsert the battery 2) "Clean Up" : asks me if I want to cleanup media, I click to continue, get message "Scanning Media..." and the unit locks up until I remove/reinsert the battery 3) "Format All" : get message "This erases all data!", I click to continue, get message "Formatting..." and the unit locks up until I remove/reinsert the battery 4) "Reload Firmware" : get message "Get FW ready on PC" (which I do), I click to continue, get message "Erasing FW..." and the unit locks up until I remove/reinsert the battery 5) "Connect to PC" : if I hit the Menu button to proceed the unit locks up until I remove/reinsert the battery The "Recovery Mode" is v1.00, and "Board" is v0.0.39 Hur ska jag göra för att kunna spela musik IGEN?
